The apartment extends over two levels of a typical town house and has been renovated, converting it into a comfortable flat with a cozy rustic flair.

Surroundings: Could there be a better place to discover Conil than right in the centre of the old town? Calle Alta is a narrow street with little traffic, close to the antique town gate "Puerta de la Villa". A small supermarket, shops, restaurants and the beach are all within easy reach.

Terraces: A large terrace, divided into different areas forms a wonderful place to enjoy the Andalusian sun. The roof terrace on the top level opens onto a wide view over Conil and the sea. The terrace is furnished with a table and wooden seats and many big pot plants. Yucca and date palm trees provide a refreshing green canopy, while a 6ft wall makes it possible to enjoy outdoor meals even on windy days. When it gets too hot, there is a mini-pool to take a refreshing bath.

Inside: The apartment opens directly into the diner, furnished with a round glass table and wrought iron chairs in a Roman style. A small kitchen and a bathroom with EC and shower can be found on the left while a small lounge with a U-shaped sofa are on the right. These are followed by a multi-purpose room with a divan, which can be used as a bedroom also, and another bedroom with 2 beds. Dark wooden beams on the ceiling, a terracotta tiled floor, Moorish lamps and wooden framed windows give an antique, rustic flair. From the entrance area a staircase leads up to the 2nd floor with a spacious master bedroom (150cm double bed) and bathroom with shower/WC. The above mentioned terrace is on the same level, while the roof terrace occupies the roof of the master bedroom.

Great location in traditional cottage
Caza Alta 1 is a lovely old fashioned cottage right in the heart of Conil, close to everything and we thoroughly enjoyed staying there. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen/diner well stocked and the views from the roof are spectacular! However, there are a few problems that if sorted out would increase my rating to 5 stars. *The rooftop canopy needs repair so that the rooftop can be used during the day. *The showers are poor quality and the boiler needs renewal. *The stove top was not hot enough to boil water and heat too weak to cook anything. *There is no electric kettle.
