Highlights
El Poniente is a charming holiday villa in finca-style, set in a very quiet part of Los Caños de Meca, close to Cape Trafalgar.
Surroundings: The property is set on a residential street in between other holiday villas, with the pine covered hills of the natural park "La Breña" providing a green backdrop. A perfect place for your holidays: A 5 minute walk takes you to the beach while 2 restaurants and a grocer's shop are even closer. The natural park is close by, where you can have walks or mountain bike trips through the pine forest. The beach at Cape Trafalgar is protected from waves and offers perfect conditions for swimming, wind and kite-surfing.
Outside: The large garden is mature and completely enclosed, with a wall and hedges protecting your privacy. Pines and other local trees give welcome shadow and there is also an extensive lawn with both sunny and shady parts. The driveway is framed by 3 palm trees and there is hibiscus, bougainvillea and oleander growing around the property.
Inside: Wooden windows and doors give a country-style feel to the the villa, further enhanced inside by wooden beams and a terracotta tiled floor. You enter the house through a large, well equipped kitchen with a big wooden table. The living room is pleasantly decorated with oriental accesoirs, and has a good working open fire. From here, a staircase leads up to the semi-open attic, equipped with double bed (160cm x 200cm) and a chest of drawers. The other two bedrooms are on the ground floor, one with double bed (160 x 200cm), the other with twin beds. Both have built-in wardrobes. Besides a TV (mainly Spanish and German TV with some English news channels) there is a DVD and a CD player at your disposal, as well as 2 mountain bikes (please handle with care and always keep them locked - clients are responsible for damage or loss).
