Quinta Mangueta is a lovely country holiday villa, set on a private track in a calm and unspoiled environment in Zahora.
Outside: The large estate includes a shaded area with old wild olive trees, whilst the front part is covered with a lawn and there is also an organic vegetable garden. The lower terrace is shaded by a wooden roof covered with Andalusian roof tiles (the reet pergola which can be seen on the photo has been replaced). Garden furniture, hammocks, loungers and a barbecue are provided.
Inside: The villa is
nicely furnished with a country style decoration. The high ceiling
is soported by wooden beams, matching with the natural stone and
the white washed walls and providing a rustic flair.
Living room has a corner-sofa, fire with glass door and ventilation system, TV (Spanish programs) and CD-player. The kitchen is open towards the diner and has a dishwasher. Also on the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms, one with double bed, the other with 2 single beds and a bathroom with shower.
A staircase with child-barrier leads to the main bedroom with a round window in the attic, which has a small bathroom (WC, shower) en-suite. From there you can access the upper terrace, which offers wide views over the unspoiled landscape.
Environmental friendly: hot water and electricity supply by sun power. You are invited to enjoy the products of the vegetable garden and fresh eggs during your stay!
Surroundings: There are a few other houses in the surroundings, but mostly there are just fields and meadows stretching out between the villa and the sea. From the upper terrace you can enjoy an unspoilt view over the beautiful landscape to the ocean. The marvellous, secluded beach of Mangueta is at only 10 minutes walk.
